It is the day before our home race and the excitement is building as we get closer to race day.

This report is being generated at the eleven10mods shop and there is a flurry of activity going on behind me.  Chad Sanner is buttoning up Darryl Durham's motor while the rest of the crew finalizes Mt. Morris preparations.

I left the shop last night at 1 AM and returned at noon today and this dedicated group had worked through the night.  I don't know how they do it and I simply couldn't have any more respect for this dedicated group of professionals.

Team Manager Phil Alderon flew in on Tuesday and will be back east through Budd's Creek.   He's integrated quickly into the operation and his race team experience is already paying dividends from an organizational and morale standpoint.  Phil's reputation as a successful team owner is well known in the industry and we couldn't be happier to have Phil in this pivotal role.

The team participated in Press Day yesterday and was able to put in a 45 minute practice session at the track.

Davey Coombs stopped Phil and I as we were cruising in the Rhino and asked if we could supply two riders Friday afternoon for some helmet cam action.  After a couple of cartwheels we thanked DC for the opportunity.  Darryn "Double D" Durham and Michael Willard will be wearing the helmet cams and look for them on the CBS coverage this weekend.
